Opening the 2019 season!
The Porto Montenegro Yacht Club Gym in Tivat is now re-opened for the 2019 season. This permanent outdoor “beach” gym and play area were designed last summer by Matt Aspiotis Morley and Biofit for Porto Montenegro‘s waterfront yacht club.
The complex covers 800sqm with a bespoke wood perimeter fence and smooth sand underfoot.
As a part of the 800sqm open air gym complex at the PMYC, a beach volley court is integrated, adjacent to the training equipment.
⠀
Waterfront natural outdoor gym is equipped with the handmade oak pull-up beam, lifting logs, agility ladders and pulley system, wooden bench and some hand-painted jump boxes to resist rain and wind over summer.
Functional fitness canvas sandbags, natural fiber battle ropes, slam balls, club bells, skipping ropes, yoga mats, push-up bars, club bells and TRX suspension trainers cork complete the functional fitness equipment list.
Evening group fitness classes will take place throughout summer and personal training sessions are available via the PMYC Sports Club.
Get a free workout advice from the fitness instructor from 4-5pm and check out the volleyball court!
Daily passes are priced at Eur 10, while Sports Club members have the option to extend their monthly memberships to include the beach gym for a small additional fee.
The gym is open every spring to autumn.
Complimentary daily pass – open to all from 10am-7pm every day during the summer. Mineral water and a towel are provided.
Making decision to visit Montenegro during summer months gives you an opportunity to become a part of a magical landscape, top-notch architecture, seductive food, fairy legends and luxury hotels. As the opposite to Kotor’s Old Town and an unforgettable beauty of two boutique hotels – Forza Mare and Forza Terra, comes Tivat as the youngest city of the Boka Bay, simple and special.
